Flydubai flight diverts to Saudi Arabia amid reports of pilot fight

True but Bathroom King Bathroom is next level
Wow, the bigotry is next level.

It may fall differently on your ears as the Arab naming tradition often incorporates references to God, beauty, strength, exaltation, growth, brilliance, abundance, etc. Sometimes but less frequently names that have violent connotations, but usually in the context of war or conquer. Often just everyday references, depending on era. The use of alliteration, rhyme, and repetition is common like:

Anwar Anwar, Ali Ali, Bilal Bilal, Hassan Hassan, Muhammad Muhammad, Mounir Mounir, Ziyad Zayd, Jafar Jafari, Hakim Hakimi, or Kamil Kamili.

Don't be a d**s. Be lekker.

Technically Arabic names are a lot longer especially if they were created simply to rhyme, so as not to create embarrassing instances like "Bathroom King of Bathroom". They will add other words, such as son of "bin Xyx".

Got some info (some of it hearsay) from a buddy at FlyDubai:

- FlyDubai flight crew don't go through the terminal when signing on in Dubai. They sign on at HQ and go through security there. Then get on a bus with the cabin crew (and any deadheading crew), bus door gets locked from outside, bus enters airport and drops them off at the aircraft. Many airlines do this at home base btw, Emirates included. Security is still strict and run by the same airport security company.
- Says he did about 3 Tel Aviv flights per month and never saw any deadheading crew on those sectors. Apparently it was introduced only a few days before this flight as back up to possible delays due to the situation in the ME.
- He knows the SA deadheading pilot. Used to work with him at Airlink.
- They looked up the FO's seniority number before the company wiped all his info and he was relatively junior, calculating he could have only joined earlier this year.
- Apparently they aren't actually allowed to let Omani citizens fly to Israel. He was flying with an Iranian captain to TLV a while back and he kept talking bad about Israel and Jews. This captain had an EU passport though, so I'm assuming that's the loophole in getting Muslim Arab pilots to fly into TLV.

One thing we agreed on is that this FO was an idiot. He could have just gotten up, locked the door with the deadbolt from inside (impossible to then get in from outside) and bash the captain with the much more dangerous crash axe. Choosing a flight with deadheading pilots (he would have met them at dispatch and sat with them on the crew bus) wasn't ideal either.

1. Netanyahu conducted a highly classified diplomatic and intelligence-sharing trip to the UAE exactly two days prior to the incident.
2. Following the meetings, Netanyahu issued an explicit public warning stating that Israel faced an elevated threat window of immediate attacks before the upcoming elections.
3. Flydubai operated multiple routine flights along the Dubai–Tel Aviv corridor throughout Monday afternoon, Tuesday morning, and Tuesday evening without altering crew sizes or implementing extra safety protocols.
4. Fly Dubai’s Wednesday morning flight had 2 additional pilots on board, uniquely singled out to have 2 off duty pilots.
5. The pilot chose to execute his plan on this specific flight despite being heavily outnumbered by professional aviators, indicating he was completely unaware of the last-minute crew additions sitting in the passenger cabin - which actually doesn’t happen as pilots are provided with passenger manifestos.
6. The flight just happened" to have a highly irregular, European nationals secondary crew sitting right there in the passenger cabin.

You may want to check your translator. Those lucky packet ones don't work so lekker.

We are still talking about the same country that bombed a school full of children in Iran and not only denied it but tried to blame Iran for the bombing?
No we are talking about the radical Islamic regime that has been oppressing its own citizens for 50 years and funding terror all over the world, specifically via its proxies in the middle east against Israel.

This ignores the fact that they bombed a school full of children trying to pin it off on Iran, poor response.

Entertaining your red herring now, the US has 20 known military bases across the ME, and about +700 across 80 countries. Doing pretty similar dodgy shyt like collecting intel and infiltrating other regions. So they are the literal definition of terrorism.

What translation was incorrect? What does "Hamam" and "Hammami" mean in Arabic? And what does "bin" mean in Arabic?

Words have a literal meaning, and a metaphorical meaning. Both can be lost when translated into another language. In particular 'bathroom' means toilet in American English, which is not the original meaning at all. Google:
Literal Meaning: Derived from the Arabic noun ḥammām (حَمَّام), meaning "bath," "bathhouse," or "warm water".
Cultural Evolution: The term spread from Arabic into Persian and Turkish during the expansion of Islamic cultures and the Ottoman Empire, describing traditional public steam baths.
Alternative Meanings: In some personal naming contexts, the base word Hammam can also poetically evoke a dove or pigeon (hamām), symbolizing peace and purity.
Occupational Origin: Hammami is a surname of Arabic origin meaning "bathhouse keeper" or "attendant".

A very brief video, with zero speculation (as I predicted). The only remarkable feature is that he is standing in front of the Boeing factory, discussing structural strength of the rudder, with the camera pointed at a brand new B737.

P.S. I am a moderator on Juan's channel. Not looking forward to all the weird comments this topic attracts...

Edit: A 4 minute video with 725 comments in 5 hours!? More than the usual weirdos...
Mr Moderator, Mr Moderator, Mr Moderator ...
Is there any truth that the rudder shows signs of an attack by a Mossad flown Persian flying carpet?

;)

Many of the comments were dumb aviation ones (apart from the political/conspiracy ones).
1. Q: How did they get a knife onboard? A: Every B737 has a crash axe in the cockpit.
2. Q: Did the aircraft go supersonic? A: No, but excessive speeds can damage structures.
3. Q: Was the aircraft in a vertical dive? A: No, the ADSB descent rate is equal to 30 degrees.
4. Q: Did the plumber land the aircraft? A: No, the onboard relief pilots did.
5. Q: Why did the oxygen masks not deploy? A: There was no cabin depressurisation.
6. Q: How do you land an aircraft without a rudder? A: The rudder is mostly for crosswinds.
7. Q: Will the aircraft fly again? A: Probably not, without a very careful inspection.
8. Q: Is Boeing safer than Airbus? A: Apples versus oranges.
Etc, etc.

I didn't answer all of those, it's too exhausting. I did delete several that were argumentative, or said: If X/Y/Z not true, then a conspiracy theory/false flag/MSM coverup must the the answer...

Edit: The bots occasionally arrive too, but are very easy to spot!
