Dumb idea if there are mistakes, can't get an innocent life back.

It also causes a toll on those who can administer the procedure, can see in the US how much of an issue it is to get someone who can do it right.

In the US it's definitely cheaper to incarcerate for life, I'd guess south Africa is the same, all the extra effort to make sure no mistake is made.

We can't find them because most of our police are under trained, under funded or corrupt and useless ,if we find them we can't convict them in court because we can't prove they did it because our labs are broken, under funded and our NPA is a hollowed out shell due to corruption and mismanagement.

But yes. lets focus on giving the death penalty to the 1% that we may or may not have correctly convicted. Seems like a solid plan.
