Nope, remember running on voltage mode, he dropped it below the 48What! You drained your battery below 50% SOC?
Not nice, he knows not to use the microwave when the pump is running
When does it switch to grid? What's 0.3kWh of microwave going to do? You have 12kW inverter, HP = 1.5kW, MW = 1.5kW, total 3kW. Glad you using most of your battery, that's the nice part. Not nice, he knows not to use the microwave when the pump is running
No point.Bifacial panels. Do they even make a difference when mounted on a tile roof ? Cannot reall se the point as no light will reach the backside of the panel ?
Still buy them though unless mono is cheaper. From what I remember, there wasn’t any price difference between mono and bi. So mind as well get Bi.Bifacial panels. Do they even make a difference when mounted on a tile roof ? Cannot see the point as no light will reach the backside of the panel ?
When you've got the heat pump running at the same time as the microwave, voltage mode means that the voltage can drop below the threshold as there is a high draw. When does it switch to grid? No idea, but the ones I do have do seem to give marginal better performance than they should.Bifacial panels. Do they even make a difference when mounted on a tile roof ? Cannot see the point as no light will reach the backside of the panel ?

Aren't they lighter, cheaper and run cooler? No point.
Make the threshold lower. When you've got the heat pump running at the same time as the microwave, voltage mode means that the voltage can drop below the threshold as there is a high draw.
It's normally fine, as long as you don't have high draw early in the morning.Make the threshold lower.
Exactly, so making it a bit lower wont make much difference and will cover you through the tough times. It's normally fine, as long as you don't have high draw early in the morning.
If on a ground mount ,flat roof (obviously mount at an angle) or integrated carport (where the panels are the actual roof) if you paying more for them and you have a standard roof then its a waste - if you getting it cheaper then an equivalent or less wattage monfacial then obvious worth itBifacial panels. Not sure on cooler and lighter. I have a mix of Bifacial and Mono. My first 6 are Bifacial.Aren't they lighter, cheaper and run cooler?

I have these : https://www.geewiz.co.za/solar-pane...-topcon-bifacial-dual-glass-solar-module.html
7 on a flat roof; the panels are angled, and the roof is painted light grey (The Duram roof paint) for reflective light
