The funny thing is, now that certain institutions are "catching up" they're basically behind again.

Crypto isn't supposed to be an "investment" even though that's what many people did and still think about when they see it... I've been hodling for just under a decade now and in recent months my renewed interest in crypto has f-all to do with "investing" or "cashing out" so I can convert to fiat again, fiat and the banking system can f**k right off, I'm now interested in actually using it for payments and converting between different crypto to do so. I also want to be paid in it for stuff I sell or stuff I do.

I've actually started saying no to some 2nd hand private sales because the guy doesn't have a crpyto wallet so I can XRP him his money in seconds with transaction fees so low they're irrelevant.

It's now about actual trading using it so I can get the f**k away from the banking system and their little government c**k sucking mouths. So a bank offering it as an "investment" in 2026 is retarded and about as far away from the true benefits of crypto as you can get.

Don't forget, if you cross the border the ANC wants all your crypto, so now what, hand over all your FNB cards, passwords etc. just to be sure?

Maybe FNB can implement a fancy new feature in their app called Geospropriate, if the GPS picks up you're crossing the border it'll transfer all your crypto into the state's wallet.
