Ster-Kinekor launches the business class of cinemas in top South African mall

The company said its SKX-PERIENCE Free-Roam VR Arena offers hours of escapism for up to six players, and is a first in Africa.

“The new 6-player dedicated arena merges physical freedom with hyper-realistic digital worlds,” Ster-Kinekor said.

It added that the arena offered state-of-the-art headsets, precision haptic controllers, and advanced spatial tracking.

Putting on a headset at Ster-Kinekor sounds about as hygenic as rubbing your face on one of their crusty seats.

R229 for Apex and R269 for "Business class". They should have named it cinephile class or film buffs class. Business class makes zero sense and still shows how out of touch they are.
 
Customers can also order drinks and snacks from the dedicated adjoining lounge and have them delivered to their seats in the cinema.
