DStv Sports and Netflix for R298.50 per month

Thanks but MC can go screw themselves they have ripped us off for decades, I now stream from overseas and its far better and cheaper. I haven't given DSTV a cent in decades
What are you getting and how much are you paying?

They should stop marketing this as a sport channel and call it what it is. A soccer channel.
But… but… this is what they have:

  • SuperSport Premier League (Ch. 203): Every match of the English Premier League, plus the Carabao Cup and FA Cup. [1, 2]
  • SuperSport Football+ (Ch. 206): Full coverage of the UEFA Champions League. [1, 2]
  • SuperSport PSL (Ch. 202): Local South African Premier Soccer League matches. [1, 2]
  • SuperSport Cricket (Ch. 212): Proteas internationals, SA20, IPL, and other global tournaments. [1, 2]
  • SuperSport Action (Ch. 209): All local Currie Cup rugby matches, 1 live United Rugby Championship (URC) match per week, and combat sports (WWE & UFC). [1, 2]
  • SuperSport Extra (Ch. 210): Cycling, hockey, and aquatics. [1]
  • ESPN 1 & ESPN 2 (Ch. 218/219): American sports including the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB. [1, 2]
  • Other Included Sports Channels: SuperSport Events (Ch. 199), SuperSport Blitz, La Liga, Football, Kickoff, Africa, Schools, and SportyTV

Bit of a weird price in the title - here's what the author meant

...DStv Sports package from R399 per month, and through its split-bill feature, customers can pay just R199.50 per month.

This has opened the opportunity for South African viewers to get the best of both worlds at an affordable price. For example, they could get DStv Sports and Netflix Basic for just R298.50 per month.

The "split billing" isn't really a feature, just a tool, but anyway..

There's a table in the article that explains all the shared streaming options.

How much did canal+ pay mybroadband for this bogus advertorial. It’s not a sport package, because it excludes almost all the sport people who have DStv premium actually want to watch, and why they keep subscribing to premium.

How can DSTV call this a sport channel when the most important sport are not included. We have been forced to pay for the premium package to get get sport that we want. Stop calling this a sport channel it should be named a football/ soccer channel.

If Multiploos knew what's good for them, they would put a rep on the forum and have a dedicated thread / section.

But would have to be an experienced rep, else they might drown here
