Why can't ANCers just buy insurance like people in civilized countries do?

and who will enforce it? were already a lawless and broke society where if somebody gets hurt, if you call the ambulance,It's clearly mired in corruption. Just do what others have suggested, scrap the whole thing and make 3rd party insurance mandatory.
Well, like the rest of the world, it is enforced by the traffic department. No insurance, no license gets issued. Simple as that.and who will enforce it? were already a lawless and broke society where if somebody gets hurt, if you call the ambulance,
first question they ask is do they have medical aid and funds in it.
Dont they ask that because we dont have compulsory 3rd party insurance at the moment?and who will enforce it? were already a lawless and broke society where if somebody gets hurt, if you call the ambulance,

You can't register your vehicle each year unless you've got the insurance.and who will enforce it? were already a lawless and broke society where if somebody gets hurt, if you call the ambulance,

no they ask us because that determines if you get help in an emergency from a Goverment ambulance that measured in years,Dont they ask that because we dont have compulsory 3rd party insurance at the moment?
people already drive with expired licence discs, and vehicles held together with bailing wire and duct tape,You can't register your vehicle each year unless you've got the insurance.
Enforcement is same as driving without a driving license or an unregistered vehicle.
We're talking about less taxes here. Fuel becomes cheaper because the RAF portion falls away.people already drive with expired licence discs, and vehicles held together with bailing wire and duct tape,
nobody bats an eyelid, just a normal part of driving around, seeing the latest S class and a taxi with cardboard brake pads
enforcement is already an issue, adding more laws and increasing taxes just makes people want to break the law more.
Okay. So how does burning a petrol station help with achieving that goal?I do know that. but unless action is taken, we just gonna get screwed more and more.

ANC demands cuts to levies dreamt up by the ANC and stolen by ANC cadres. If only those 3 separate organizations could open a discussion.
The General Fuel Levy in South Africa was introduced by the National Treasury (under the national government) in April 1983 under the Customs and Excise Act, No. 91 of 1964View attachment 1943482

iirc, you used to get a free tank of petrol if you bought a full trolley of groceries.I remember many many moons ago when Raymond Ackerman from Pnp started selling petrol at a discounted price at filling stations they owned. The government was up in arms and threatened to arrest him. He brought court case after court case but lost due to the strict fuel price regulations.
LoL, projected petrol price increase for November just under R5 p/l
