Former president Jacob Zuma remained at a private hospital on Thursday night, despite the MK Party and Jacob Zuma Foundation insisting that he was not ill.

Former president Jacob Zuma remained at a private hospital on Thursday night, despite the MK Party and Jacob Zuma Foundation insisting that he was not ill and had merely undergone a routine medical check-up.

A Witness journalist saw a presidential protection vehicle in the hospital’s underground parking area on Thursday, two days after Zuma was taken to the facility by ambulance.

The Witness first learnt of Zuma’s hospitalisation from a reliable eyewitness who was at the hospital when senior ANC regional leader Siminenkosi Samora Ndlovu was admitted after being shot multiple times in an ambush.
