Protests in South Africa turn violent with cars torched and gunshots fired

But they have a right to protest you know.
There's an area in Durban called Mt Moriah, around 5km away from Mt Edgecombe. The entire community was without electricity for 4 days. Only when they blocked off a major road and set stuff alight yesterday did the municipality quickly send people to fix up the problem.

This rubbish government has made burning stuff and violent protesting the most efficient way of getting results.

RIOTS!!!!! in South Africa turn violent with cars torched and gunshots fired

Call it what it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is not protesting, it's rioting and economic terrorism

I 100% agree with you.

This should never have been allowed to get to this point, but somehow the police must "balance" peoples rights and somehow that balance ends up with people being allowed to loot and destroy shyte cos like "Right to protest"

Odd seeing rightoids, who would clap if US or EU okes were doing this to get rid of foreign browns, sitting in this thread moaning about this.

The leftoids though, they're lost as usual.

Not sure if you all are following, but it got out of hand about 2 hours ago, very quickly.
Yup.. And this shyte is on the police. After yesterday these fsckers should not have been allowed to protest or march or even gather.
First off, that's not in Umbilo. That's in Berea.

Secondly...do you okes even live here in Durban ? That area is a known shithole with prozzies and drug houses.

BunnyBoy lives out in the nice laanie areas, but you Ghost, aren't you right here in Glenwood?
