Yes, I actually do watch them - at 1.25 x playback speed... ;)

Due to the excessive G-force overstress that the airframe experienced, It will probably be scrapped - or end up in a museum... ;)
The question to ask, is do you trust Boeing not to reuse "good" parts to service other aircraft. (assuming for a moment that Boeing, or a boeing owned maintenance company, would be the ones scrapping the aircraft)

'Good' parts would probably be all of the interior trim (seats, wall & ceiling panels, galleys, toilets, etc) and all of the avionics & electrical equipment that can be safely reutilised again...

Issuance of a New Emirati Statement Reveals Identity and Motives of Flydubai Co-Pilot:

His Excellency Counselor Dr. Hamed Saif Al Shamsi, the UAE Attorney General, announced that investigations conducted by the Public Prosecution regarding the incident involving Flydubai flight number FZ1073, en route from Dubai to Tel Aviv on September 30, 2026, have uncovered that the aircraft's co-pilot, an Omani national, had embarked on executing a pre-planned scheme with terrorist intent. This scheme targeted seizing control of the aircraft and using it to carry out a suicide operation aimed at the passenger terminal of Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, with the purpose of inflicting the maximum possible human casualties.

His Excellency the Attorney General clarified that the investigations traced the intellectual and professional trajectory of the accused, aged 29 years, revealing that signs of his inclination toward extremism and terrorism began in 2017 during his studies in Australia. There, he was influenced by takfiri ideologies through reading extremist publications and following electronic content that glorifies terrorist organizations and suicide operations.

This influence evolved into his adoption of ideas inciting violence and terrorism, drawing inspiration from the September 11, 2001 attacks, and solidifying the notion of carrying out a similar operation using an aircraft—a pursuit that, according to his confessions, was linked to his career path in aviation.

His Excellency added that the accused moved between several airlines in various countries during his professional career. He worked for Oman Air from 2020 until 2024, then joined Royal Air Maroc at the beginning of 2025 and worked there for several months, before transferring to Flydubai in January 2026.

The accused admitted that during his studies in the Australian city of Melbourne, he frequented a mosque affiliated with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and became acquainted with those running the "My Center" through his visits to the mosque. He noted that the center was managed by a Lebanese individual named "Abu Hamza," who, according to his statements, received support from an association linked to the Muslim Brotherhood group. He prepared himself mentally and physically to execute his plan by intensifying his consumption of materials inciting terrorism and training in boxing under a private coach.

The investigations showed that the accused exploited his participation in two prior flights to Tel Aviv to scout the flight path and the airport, as part of his personal preparations for his terrorist scheme, before proceeding to implement it during the third flight on September 30, 2026.

The investigations also included an examination of the procedures for the accused's recruitment by Flydubai, which confirmed that he met all professional and security employment requirements, including his pilot's license, certificate of good conduct and behavior, and necessary checks. No indicators emerged during those procedures revealing his extremist tendencies or his intent to execute a terrorist plan.

On the day of the incident, the accused surprised the aircraft captain inside the cockpit and assaulted him with the emergency axe, while the captain resisted the assault and attempted to call for help. A return flight captain was on board the aircraft, who happened to be near the cockpit at the time of the assault. He noticed the door opening and closing repeatedly in an unusual manner, which aroused his suspicion. He approached it and attempted to enter using the access code until he succeeded, witnessing the accused assaulting the aircraft captain. Immediately, he intervened with the assistance of one of the cabin crew members and several passengers, managing to rescue the injured captain and subdue the accused. Meanwhile, the return flight captain and his co-pilot took control of the aircraft, diverted its course, and landed it safely at Tabuk Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The accused, in the presence of his lawyer and with all prescribed legal safeguards in place, provided a detailed confession regarding his motives, planning stages, and execution, admitting that he acted alone without the involvement of others. Investigations remain ongoing to verify this.

The Public Prosecution also took statements from the aircraft captain, the return flight pilot and his co-pilot, and crew members. The forensic medical report confirmed that the aircraft captain's injuries were concentrated in the head—a vital and potentially fatal area—and that they were recent and contemporaneous with the incident, resulting from an assault with a tool consistent in nature with the emergency axe, aligning with the statements of the accused, the aircraft captain, and witness testimonies.

The Public Prosecution continues to examine the evidence, verify the existence of accomplices or other connections, and compile recordings and technical reports, with any new developments to be announced in accordance with the requirements of the investigation's interests.
