UK Politics: (the battle of the YouTube channels)

the mention of baker st shot me back about 30yrs, remembering baker st station's curved roof and windows, our house in camberley, and my mother singing along to one her favorite songs at the time

What a cool place to have lived and gathered memories in.
It may not be what it used to but it’s still a phenomenal place to visit.

Well done to Zack Poloni, he didn’t manage to win despite being the party leader…

Social media is full of Reform supporters complaining as usual that Restore split the right wing vote, gifting the seat to Labour.

Meanwhile between the two parties they got somewhere between 7 and 8 percent, as opposed to Labour's 43%.

Restore lost its deposit.

Contrary to the “brown is bad” groups (including some individuals who commented in this thread) the Labour candidate was a local with lots of experience in the local council and well liked in the area.

Unlike Poloni who expected to just jump in and win on his Green bounce.

Exactly, she seems to have done a lot more for the area than any of the others, so a sound choice.
