Proposed new rules would stop driving licences from being used as valid ID in South Africa

Good grief, just update the regulations and cards so they are acceptable proof. That's the whole thing people have been complaining about having to carry more than one document. And plenty of places have been using unofficial forms of ID such as student cards. I don't see how updating anything will stop that.

It's a thorn in their side now with pushing everyone into smart ID's, so end of.

While I still maintain that private estates and security companies do not have any right to scan any of your documents under and circumstances, even though they do have a right to physically inspect them and record your details. The reality is that the Scanning of IDs etc. is part of the roll out of Agenda 2030, so not even the constitutional is going to get involved in this one.

Why not do what's necessary to turn them into a valid form of ID?
Can't have multiple ID's, Agenda 2030 does not make provision for it, primarily because the Smart ID has the RFID chip embedded in it and your details are updated on an ongoing basis. (Or will be once they get there).

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but this one tracks.

I do my best to double check information before I make a comment (which doesn't mean I get it right every time either) but the documents are pretty clear on this one, and the model being used in China, which the west is now adopting, does support it.
