A police statement about a South African woman sentenced to seven years in prison for buying an iPhone 16 Pro Max with a fake ID and falsified bank statements has raised more questions than answers.

Obviously, criminals should be arrested, tried, and if found guilty, go to prison.
But waiving this particular flag around as some sort of success, is absolutely retarded.

There are dozens of murders, hundreds(?) of rapes, countless high jackings, assaults, thefts, etc. every single day. This doesn't even include the billions lost due to fraud and corruption.
Those are the crimes that should be properly pursued and prosecuted.
