Things that irritate you - Part 4

People driving inferior cars holding up traffic because the have but 2 chinese pony power engines.

They have overtaken the Fortuners and Wildtracks as the new rulers of the fast lane.
Exactly my problem with it. They're usually too dumb to move to the left lane too, trying to pass a lorry doing 25 km/h, taking the whole of 2 km double lanes to accelerate to 35 km/h

The concept of keep left and pass right doesn't seem to be a thing anymore. Idiots.
Been like that for a few years.

Best example is the R24 past Makro.

Some days one can do 150KM/h in the first lane, overtaking all cars in overtaking lanes.

The issue I have? The idiots that then speed up when you overtake them on their left.

Slaap jy nie oom @HAL 9000
I have two cats that demand sustenance at around 01h00 EVERY.SINGLE.MORNING... so I have to get up to do 'Cat Butler' duties - I then browse MyBB & watch YT videos until around 03h00 - 03h30 and then go back to bed again until the alarm goes off at 06h00... ;)

1. The Jan Smuts airport very wisely has a new Uber pickup spot for international arrivals. It is on the international end of the airport and happily near the police station and various stationed guards. I've been travelling for 16 hours.

First uber isn't budging, I ring to ask why he has stopped. He's at the filthy, fume-filled domestic parkade, demanding my pillar location. For him it is out of the realms of possibility that a new pickup location exists and he obviously hadn't bothered to check when accepting the ride. Hangs up on me.

Luckily I don't get charged a cancellation fee and the next guy is great on the phone and stays on while I direct him. Turns out to be a recent model E Class in good health too.

2. FNB keeps calling me. I do have various services with them, but I spend most of my day in session and can't take these unsolicited calls. No voicemail left. No follow-up communication in writing. I can only assume it is unimportant and they're trying to sell me something. A professional organisation leaves voicemail, says who they are, why they're calling, how to reach them. You don't get this with these amateur hour types, it is only one way and therefore pointless.

whatsapp messages which just say "hello how are you ? i am fine thank you "
I got a message one day from an unknown number with exactly that "Hello, how are you". Ended up being a chick I knew in highschool. I should have blocked her for acting like a bot, just like she did in highschool.. weird girl 😅
