MultiChoice has published a timeline of when paid-up DStv customers will receive free 7-day upgrades to a higher-tier package.

DStv Select customers were upgraded to DStv Sport for a week starting 29 September 2026, and DStv Sport subscribers were upgraded to Premium on 12 October 2026.

Earlier reports suggest they're considering making this cyclic, then expect similar upgrades every few months.
Might work well, they've done something like this in ROA (Rest Of Africa) for years.

But really need to pay attention to Premium customers now, Multiploos

DSTV's farking ar5e - they removing some of the best Indian channels from the Indian Bouquet - so lots of Indian people that i know are going to vote with their wallets and cancel their Premium subscriptions with the Indian bouquet - DSTV can take that and get shafted
