The end of the ANC

The brand is dead, that much is certain. But they’ll still be part of government for at least another decade I think.
Probably. Its going to take a while for the old supporters to die off. In 10 years time it would have been 40 years since the end of apartheid. All those old toppies who were there in the struggle will be mostly dead.

The ANC hasn't connected with the younger generation so even if they do exist in 10 years it will be something completely different to what it is now (and what it was)

One thing I've learned over the years is that "politicians" look after themselves first - these people will leach onto whatever party they can to survive so the ANC' identity might change but, the rubbish that form the party caucus will carry on steal, defraud, kill and destroy under another banner!

Just hoping they lose more ground and that the other parties grow a pair and stop letting the ANC dictate policy to be honest.

I have every faith in political titan, Paul 'The Retard' Mashytile.

Functionally retarded street criminal, fetal alcohol syndrome, never done a day's work in his entire life, a troop of fat imbeciles to kick your face in on the roadside at his command.

This is the right guy to put the final boot into the country and turn it into Liberia.

I'd think considerably longer than 10 years to be honest... but they level of involvement will diminish at every election going forward.
As soon as the MK party is gone it will be back to 70% nationally, that's the way the cookie ( crookie ) crumbles.

No it won't since its never been at 70%, and only once in 2004 did it brush that number.

It might go back over 50%, but I doubt the ANC will see the levels of 2009/2014 ever again.
Even with the "Zuma" effect in 2008 onwards, they've been on a downward trajectory as their loyal supporter voting base slowly ages and passes on.

Nah, the ANC has a massive base. Although it is diminishing, the rate of decrease is still quite slow. Millions upons millions of South Africans are straight ANC voters.
