Participants in a conflict always lie about casualties to boost their own image. No doubt hamas exaggerated and israel promoted the opposite view.

Now, this opinion from the NY compost starts like this,

Since the horrific attacks of October 7, 2023, Hamas and its sympathizers at the United Nations and college campuses have lied to the world.

They have denied the truth that Hamas raped its prisoners, invented atrocities by Israeli forces, and denied Israel has the right to exist.

I didn't give an opinion on its truthfulness or lack thereof. This story is from last year and the possibility that Hamas lied about casualties is reported (last year) in various other media and investigated by some think tank thing in the US.

I was simply pouring scorn on an opinion that starts by laying bare its bias. I didnt read the rest.
