5 Bft refers to Force 5 on the Beaufort Wind Scale, which is classified as a "Fresh Breeze."
That is the first time I have seen Beaufort wind scale referred to in a forecast:
Sho, it's already very warm this morning![]()
Very true, I finished both my water bottles during my early morning 64km cycling which started at 05:30.Sho, it's already very warm this morning![]()
I was watching last night as some isolated cells popped up but were way to the E/SE over MP. Looks like we are going to need every drop we can get.
The funny thing is in the airport specific forecasts they've mentioned a 40% chance of hail for OR Tambo, which you don't see often at all. I assume due to the high temperatures if an isolated cell does pop up it's going to be relatively violent
