Every time I see Game articles of this nature I think of the Game Canal Walk "flagship" store that at any point has more staff (wandering around) than actual customers in the store.

How that (massive) store can afford the rent at CW is a mystery to me

CW rent for our store (DW) was a lot i remember them sharing this with us and i was like there is in no damn ways we able top pay that a month. Now PEP is there... i can understand PEP paying that to be honest.

Last time I was in Game was about 10 years ago in Menlyn park shopping center, place looked as if it was shutting down, checked and apparently still operating. Wonder if they now have more than 2 products on a row of empty shelves.

Since then idea in my head is place on verge of bankrupcy just waiting to pull its doors closed.

You know as sad as that is true in many cases i feel for the guys that actually do or did work hard but the amount of crap their upper mangement makes them do its no wonder.

they can turn this around they just got ot be smart about it adn that american dude i think never understood SA markets

Never liked shopping at Game, I think it was that purple colour that did it for me.
