I honestly don't get this mad allegiance to one's skin. How TF can you be proud of something that was not your choice in the first place? I could understand affinity to country or language etc but skin ? Really ?

I am just glad that on mybb, there are people like you & @Cray and @ForceFate etc who call out everyone, including "one's own"

I've always assumed that there must be very little else that they have to be "proud" of. It's like being proud about someone inventing something - unless it's yourself or a family member who invented it, basking in reflected glory is hilarious.

Yeah. It doesn't make any sense at all. Sometimes it's the attitudes and racism openly articulated by certain groups that prevents political parties from growing or acquiring additional capacity.
