Maziv-owned Rise Telecoms has deployed free high-speed fibre at Ponte City tower, the iconic, refurbished Johannesburg inner-city skyscraper that once symbolised urban decay.

It could work if they expand the clean up into the rest of the neighbourhood. To be fair, there was another refurb of this building that didn't last long. This time it looks like they just cleaned the thing more than refurb. That mountain of rubbish at the bottom has been cleaned up.

I was there recently, its like every other war torn African **** hole, they have decimated town. It can never be fixed.
