Alberta rejects secession referendum, chooses to remain part of Canada, CBC projects

What do celebrities know about governance in any real fashion that the rest of humanity should care about their opinion?
I mean on one hand sure, Strickland probably knows about as much as anyone else about governance.

On the other hand ... he could hit me pretty hard. Also, with those ears, he probably won't be able to hear me when I'm crying like a little girl begging him to stop the beating.

Yeah when it comes to hitting, I'd listen to Strickland anyday, he's clearly an expert.

Governance, he's about as clued up as the general population so wouldn't put any stock in his opinion beyond it being the same as everyone elses in terms of weighting.

Pffft to you too, where's the demos in the streets sayin' otherwise?

Find 100 WC-ians to come sign a petition of yours on the forum, and I'll believe you 🧐
I'll gladly sign a petition on any position that is diametrically opposed to anything he wants to petition for. So I guess the tally is -1 so far!

Jokes aside I appreciate that you acknowledge the reality of the unpopularity and non-urgency of libertarian governance frameworks in the general public/pinko's/commies. Maybe the bears finally get their wish next century 🤞🙏

Such a pity Hulk Hogan is no more. He always came across as a politically astute commentator, and would likely have put the good people of Alberta on the correct path to secession, which is what they really wanted.

At the very least he could have grunted, yelled, and flung a chair.

How long before another referendum? Why does he want to leave Canada? Is he MAGA?

He doesn't like Trump. He was banned from a UFC event that was hosted in the gardens of the White House because of comments he made about Trump. That didn't stop him from crashing the event and he was subsequently escorted away by the Secret Service.

Nobody knows what Sean Strickland wants. Not even Sean Strickland. Listening to the guy gives you whiplash. He can say something quite informative and profound, and then do or say something bat sh*t insane right after.

These sorts of things happen when you get smacked around the head as often as he does.

Least he has a valid excuse for the batshyte he spews...

Strickland supports all the truckers, who stood up in the freezing cold when their tyrannical government wanted to lock them up. shut them down and de-bank their friends..

Who doesn't love someone like that?

So you don't have a cooking clue what Strickland knows about governance then, and you just admire him cos "STRONK" then.

Figures I suppose.

Oh and when Trump flip-flopped, Strickland stuck to his principles.

So he's opposed to Trump's limp capitulation to a foreign leader.

It is for sure the CTE and unresolved childhood trauma.

The guy has issues and making a career out of being punched in the face wouldn't have helped.
