Adapter that adds eSIM to any phone tested in South Africa

Should have done more research before buying this phone, unless of course it was to meet article targets, as you have to keep them coming as we see through all the ai generated crap (First the post office article and now a review of the e-sim gadget)

The advantage of this adaptor is that if you're someone who is always changing devices, this adaptor saves you the hassle of visiting the stores to move esims from device to device.

And here I take having an esim in my old ass iPhone for granted. Clearly the people outside are suffering.

take most of the android phones that sold at the same price as the iphone at the time that your old ass iphone was new in the range and most of the comparable android phones at that price range will also have e-sim

the difference is that there never was a point where you could have bought an iphone brand spanking new under R5k but you could buy countless android phones - and those are the ones that do not have e-sim capability

there are loads of upper level and even midrange android phones that do have e-sim and wireless charging and and loads of those expensive android phones have features that Apple haven't even figured out how to incorporate yet ..... so how about dem apples?

So you were to poor to get an iPhone and opted for a povo spec android and now you looking for adapters?

why would i need an adapter? - i can use two e-sims with my android phone and my so-called povo spec android phone has features that even an iphone 18 pro max or a R50k duo wont even sniff in their usable lifetimes because your beloved Apple are too cheapskate to research stuff that even midrange Android users take for granted ;)

Not true it took years for Samsung to add it.

sure Apple introduced it in 2017 but other android phones used it since end 2017 for example the Google Pixel - and then Samsung only added it in 2020 BUT let me know if you even knew about it before MyBB started making a fuss about it or if you are actually even using it 😜

Hint : i did not say specifically Samsung in my post - i mentioned higher end Android phones and some of the Pixel models fall into that category

So you think someone with a phone incapable of an eSim is going to spend a grand on an adapter?

That's big talk, we want examples now, money where your mouth is and all that.
List these features please. Tell us what phone you have and these glorious features we're missing out on.

That's a nice side benefit also it allows you to use eSIMs with a router and it seems some of these adaptors have Bluetooth and you can remotely switch and install eSIMs with their app installed on a nearby phone.

i did not say that - MyBB is saying that they could if they want to - is comprehending what you are reading reading so difficult to you - im not the one who is suffering from the buyers remorse so that i have to justify my purchase using e-sim like you are trying to because my purchase already had the e-sim compared to cheaper phones BUT it only has it because it was the most expensive thing around at that point in time

okay - i'm using a Samsung S24FE and all the models above mine and newer S series phones all have these features

1) lets start with Samsung Dex which stands for "desktop experience - i can connect my phone to a monitor or even a TV (as a monitor) and this can happen wired or wirelessly and i can use my phone as a desktop PC complete with a PC like user interface or GUI as its commonly called - Apple is strong enough the chips and graphics could easily do it but Apple is stingy

2) Samsung phones have introduced things into their phones like My Fancam - which while you are recording video can focus on subject from where you are standing and it will try to keep that object/person always centred

https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/how-to-use-my-fancam-feature-in-galaxy-devices/

(as an aside added to this phones that are newer than mine like the S25 and S26 series have also added Horizontal hold which works like a gimbal ie it keeps video always vertical while recording even of you are doing cartwheels while recording the video - the video doesnt start turning upside down when you do and i'm adding it in brackets because my phone doesn't do it YET - BUT it could get added later like Now Brief and audio eraser were added a year later after the newer phones had it exclusively to make buying the new phone more attractive to users)

3) Audio Eraser - obviously can erase unwanted audio or specific sounds from any video now including on live platforms such as youtube and other streaming items

4) AI Photo assist in a way that Apple cannot ever do it

5) reverse wireless charging - i can charge my Galaxy buds or my Galaxy watch from placing them on the back of my phone if their battery runs out and i need to use it for a short while still or its more important to use than the phone at that point in time

6) many small things like keyboards that you can customize plus which have many buttons with functionality which apple still lacks so typing is a pain on apple, Live wallpapers. split screen to allow multitasking

7) AI call screening that does more than Apples version does

what i'm missing compared to you is Facetime, Liquid Glass [sarcasm mode] BIG DEAL [/sarcasm mode] and imessage (disaster since there are not so many aftermarket messaging apps around ..... oh wait :X3:)
