South African companies scrambled to protect customers from critical PHP security flaw

i was sorted before that lol (not the patch but the firewall)

patched anyway so im good but the payment gateway guys took it far (hey we blocking you till you proove you patched k>..) ... -_- no wonder my card sales dropped like flies this week.

@syndney sweeny...thingy ...Rust here im thinking shes talking about a game what the hell is rust (looked it up briefly oh she ...does what now>? cool but i mean what are you Jarred leno?)

anyway everything been php for a long time its also just the most common and supported platform(so to speak) but the main issue i se is those back water server host who dont update thier OS's and the system admins or site owners who dont understand that updates are good and the compatibility with hardware still good its not like a windows PC for example

besides if your OS isnt updated (most of the time its your host responsibility or who ever you renting the VM) then that alone is a issue. never mind the CMS etc all i see change logs these days and plug in updates is security this security that okay cool thats great

sadly patching takes time but again ....make sure you got security and other things in place last thing you want is to loose customer trusts. or in this case a hacker stealing your clients money cause the clients gonna blame you not the hacker.
