Contamination crisis hits South Africa’s capital – 22 more areas urged to boil water before drinking

@TheChamp, what were you saying the other day? Or is it OK because not cholera?

And there is also a whole other issue in Bronkhorstspruit:

Samples tested found norovirus, campylobacter, shigella and "other pathogens that cause stomach cramps and diarrhoea", officials said.

The team's early investigations found that local authorities had failed to warn residents about the contaminated water.

The water supplied to the area has been declared unfit for human consumption and authorities urged residents to only use it to flush toilets. Tankers have been dispatched to supply clean drinking water.

Was Cholera under the DA okay because it was killing black people in Hammanskraal while you larnies were enjoying your lives far away from the contaminated water?

Keep dodging Champy - your ANC are criminal liars with no ability to own their failures. "Your people" are shrinking and November will remind you of your place.

It's not like the DA didn't inherit the broken down water system before hand, plus as usual people go oh but it was a DA area, not from 2019 when it was forced to go into a coalition, also tend to forget that just before they were betrayed again, they had almost solved the issue and ActionSA was quick to have their puppet cut the ribbon, like they did it.
I mean the problems at Hammanskraal go back to 2005 way before the DA took over. They also looooove saying DA run, when it's a coalition and as history has shown that anyone going into a coalition with the DA stabs them in the back to curry favour with the ANC.

Any reasonable explanation why the DA mismanaged the money meant to fix the water treatment plant?

This is true of pretty much all the infrastructure and services in ZA. Will take a good 15 years of sustained effort and investment to begin correcting the damage done.

Some folks just don't get the reality of where the cANCer has led us. Small minds with no vision

this, only the Western cape soldiers on alone when the rest of South africa collapses into ruin,

broken window theory made real,

as in the western cape, yeah you might have droughts and dry spells but at least the water is clean.

Is there a reasonable explanation for the ActionSA and ANC mismanaged CoT to estimate my water bill this month, despite me submitting the reading online in time (including the picture now required), for 11kl more than I used, way higher than any previous 12 months, so not an average?

At least you can still worry about your water bill and not dead from Cholera, be thankful for the little things you take for granted.

you mean the money mismanaged by five senior goverment members never named who awarded it to Edwin Sodi??
Who gets funded a lot by the ANC. Also by 2019 the DA was forced in coalition in 2019, also since 2016 had to face a lot of motions of no confidence so couldn't really settle properly
It's amazing how memory gets effected, it's like the DA caused the massive debt, when in reality it was a carry over from the ANC again.
2013 they were already in 8 billion in debt
And they predict another 1.5 billion from 2014... So guess what... The ANC left them with the bill as usual, but it is a pretty picture you like to paint that the DA caused the debt, like the DA caused the Hammanskraal cholera when issues there go back to 2005...
Plus the DA had to keep fighting a losing battle with it's coalition parties who were stabbing them left and right all the time.

All thanks to concerted efforts by the DA to sort out Rooiwal even with the pressures from the rest.

Oh, when it happens in an ANC run municipality it is the ANC, when it happens in a DA run municipality, it is five senior government members? Got it.

Yes, the best way to sort out Rooiwal was to mismanage the money for the treatment plant, that is the DA difference.

Generally because it is the ANC, if you've ever found a well run, well funded ANC municipality please point it out? Everything the ANC touches turns to kak, so if an ANC metro or municipality has an issue it's directly caused by the ANC.

Struggling again I see, little hamster trying to run the wheel in your head? It wasn't the DA, it was a coalition government and it was to Edwin Sodie, who is a big time ANC tendentreupenrer.

Generally because you guys are masters at double standards when it is the DA caught in a web of corruption.
