SA Politics Part 14 - The New Dawn turns to Dusk

I will answer after you answer my question. I know your strategy is just to ask questions. LOL.

You seem like saturnz's non-islamic brother really.
Its not a thankless job, you are rewarded with good feelings from helping your community after you volunteered for the job out of love for your community and is part time that takes a few hours per month.

Question, what makes a party an ANC adjacent party? because I have strong suspicion that the DA could be an ANC adjacent party.
They ally with the ANC at (almost) every opportunity even when there's an opportunity to keep the ANC out in terms of seats. So no, the DA doesn't fall into this category because they have lots of alliances with other parties at municipal level to keep the ANC out.

You don't see the irony? There was an opportunity the keep the ANC out after the 2024 elections, guess who went against their own work to keep the ANC in?

You are picking and choosing the convenient parts to suit your narrative.

Yes, I carefully worded it because I knew you were going to bring up the GNU. But that's because the DA is pragmatic and realised the maths didn't work out in their favour on a national level (unlike in some municipalities where they are happily in coalition with FF, ACDP etc.). Remember DA supporters loathe the EFF and MK more than the ANC. The DA preference would be a GNU with similar parties like the FF and ACDP, but that is not viable on a national level, and they are not going to keep the ANC out with the help of EFF and MK.

If you have all the reasonable explanation why the DA has to work with the ANC, why would ActionSA not have reasonable explanations of their own?

It is very silly to be honest, the DA created the problem they are now moaning about, they are the one who showed that it's okay to work with the ANC, now that everyone is doing it, they don't like it.

Despite all posturing, I see Zille forming coalition with ANC or any other party, if hype about her (and DA) is to be believed.

For all his flaws, Steenhuisen understood he had to get the other opposition parties on the side of the DA before the 2024 elections, even when he later betrayed them.

This DA of Hill Lewis does not have a plan.
