You only get half as much data (rest is midnight data), and the minutes is limited to calls to Vodacom. That, and you probably need a degree to find and buy it using USSD.

Yeah even prepaid minutes are now cheap data is cheaper but still expensive generally. I now avoid whatsapp calling and just call direct

I changed from a red plan to PowerFlex recently. I get 20 GB anytime data and 20 GB nightowl data with 300min. All for R299

I was paying around R800 for 6gb data and 400min on the pos red plan.

I got this from MTN , I don't mind the data , 95% of the time on WIFI
I still call clients on their cell numbers , just feel more professional than a WhatsApp call

One - calls are unlimited for Vodacom to Vodacom only.

No thanks, been with Vodaskom for nearly a decade, cant be@rsed to port to another provider - they all the same in the end.

That said, i do use their Vodapay app, and don't need much data when i'm out, 'cept for WA or Indriver/Bolt , etc and the occassional Google to look something up.

I've get 450-700MB for 3 or 7 days depending on whats on offer for R9-R12 which is sufficient for my needs.

Try vodacom fixed 5g from Coolideas. Apparently you can use it as mobile data

Axxess (telkom ) 25gb anytime data for R99

I prefer WhatsApp calls any day: I can actually hear what they are saying, vs. the otherwise broken call quality...
