@Grant

Not sure if you watched the Jerm interview with Jack Miller.

But it reminded me of a good reason why you don't see many CIP posters up in Sea Point.

Any guesses as to what I'm referring to?

no - never watched

never watched, no idea
Jack is a very outspoken person.

Not your typical politician that tells voters what they want to hear.

In the interview, for example, he mentioned the fact that CIP was the only political party to stand up vocally against the lockdowns from the start (ACDP only took a stand about a year into LDs).

I'm going to hazard a guess and say both Jerm and Jack are critical of what you might call the parasite class and chief among them would be Zionists. Sea Point is quite pro-Israeli, iirc, and although being pro-Israeli doesn't necessarily indicate pro-Netanyahu, perhaps Jack foresees that support in Sea point, except for a very small number, is just not going to happen.

He said to me, personally, once, that the biggest opposition to Cape secession comes not from the RET people, but from the wealthiest people. He would know, too, being from Constantia.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it... but it just crossed my mind after listening to that interview.

I wonder why the wealthiest people might be against these incompetents thinking they can run anything.

Perhaps because property rights is not their top priority, but rather a middle-class that is bogged down by regulations/red-tape, because of a dangerously criminal society that necessitates industry regulation and the taxation that goes with it.

Secession would be a great leveler. Naturally it imbues the politically connected with fear of losing that economic advantage.
