Australian cricket tour of South Africa September/October 2026

[wallace1]

Aus won the toss. Will bowl.
Bavuma would've batted anyway

[I.am.Sam]

lets go .....1st ball time

[stefan9]

Fair enough but surenly TV viewership is higher if it runs over weekends ? Either way Newlands should automatically get a test in any home series and so should JHB or PTA. PE / Eaat London rotate the 3rd test and Durban should be scrapped for a few years.

Centurion has higher attendances then wanderers. Wanderers can compete with PE.
No way east London should be ahead freestate or potch imho.

[I.am.Sam]

and the wifi at work is kark ....buffering a little for me on my stream

[stefan9]

Weird decision by aus to bowl.

[Werner1975]

All the rich retirees and wine farmers are in the W.C. No wonder attendance is good there in C.T.

[thestaggy]

So Maddinson, Smith, Webster and Boland are out.
Renshaw will open. Green, Inglis, Conolly and Lyon will play

HTF did they drop Donald Bradman Boland?

But seriously though, he was one of two Aussies to actually do something in the second test.

[thestaggy]

Looks like about 30% full right now.

Jassis. And here I am, sitting in an office.

To be fair though, I'd probably be canned by midday if I was there. Proper beer and cricket weather.

All the window seats have people with laptops.

It’s nice watching cricket with aircon.

[wallace1]

Starc is bowling quick. Above 145 touching 150
Hazle above 140

Easy they are totally unwilling to drop any of the big 3. And none of their bowlers can be classified as an allrounder. So if they want a spinner it will always be boland who makes way.
Unfair but the way it is.

They will rue not playing him.

[wallace1]

Damn Markram. Dismissed Cummins. Big 6

Didn't say it was right decision. Just explained their view on it.

[thestaggy]

These two are in a hurry to score runs.

Yep. Great weather. Pitch is good. Outfield is great. No wind.

Tmrw may be overcast and windy.

[Mike Hoxbig]

When Markram plays like this, I get worried. It'll be the best looking 30 before the inevitable...

[Mike7]

You just know this bald head is gonna get Markram.
