Dear friends,

We are in the final push as we hit the last week to go before election day, next week Wednesday, 4 Nov.

ThIs is when expenses start to spike again, as our candidates report back on staff numbers and new supporters etc who confirm that they would like to assist us on election day, to have a presence at the voting stations, man the desks, hand out flyers, assist voters, count election ballots at the end of the day etc.

This requires covering costs for t-shirts, flyers, flags, petrol/transport, food, refreshments etc.

If you or anyone you know would be willing to chip in and help towards these costs, everyone would be tremendously grateful.

We are contesting 400 out of 416 wards across the Western Cape. With many wards containing multiple voting stations.

To put this in perspective, this is over 1,000 voting stations, with a target of 4x workers per voting station.

As you can imagine, that is a lot of t-shirts, flags, flyers, food etc.

Obviously we will not be able to cover anywhere near that amount.

But our goal is to do the best we can.

If you, or any family and friends would like to contribute towards the cause, you will be contributing towards spreading the vision of a non-racial, peaceful and prosperous 1st world country, in an independent Cape, our home - The Cape of Good Hope!

" The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing. "

- John Stuart Mill

If possible, any support will help.

Thank you.

NSRI may be more appropriate than political party, since .....

a) CIP is not seeking to govern SA, nor the new nation,

and

b) Two-wrongs-make-a-right BEE/AA Rainbow project ship is sinking fast....

👀
a) They're a political party.
b) I've been reliably informed by a rather large infographic that BEE/AA applies to almost your entire culturally differentiated geographical terrain currently recognized as the Western Cape.

In a voluntary Southern African sporting union, the Springboks could be comprised of individual nations like South Africa, Cape of Good Hope, Independent Kingdom of Kwazulu, and any one else who joined the union.

Much like the British and Irish Lions is comprised of multiple nations.

And how shyte are the British and Irish Lions these days... jees your standards are questionable at best lexy.

I don’t think you understand the voting climate in Cape Town/DA strongholds/rate-paying areas. People are waking up to this being bs and more see the DA as ANC-lite than before.

Basically the only people who believe this are some Vaalie semigrants, some boomers, and some normies who listen to Cape Talk and follow GHL’s PR accounts.

DA is unlikely to fall below 45% (I don’t even think down to the magical 49% number being spoken about). It’s good for the people to force them out of outright control and into coalitions which will carry the sentiments of growing unhappy people in response to what the DA is doing.
I would not underestimate how many people are normies that listen to talk radio.

They are called normies for a reason because they are the overwhelming majority.

Sadly yes but as more of them are waking up nowadays the problem is that the DA have aggressively campaigned for the poor vote. Which is why I don’t think they’ll drop much despite many of the middle & upper classes shifting to CIP/VF etc.

There will be little shift towards CIP.

People will continue to be suspicious of why "they want to run when they're not into politics", their last failure although not their fault suggests incompetence to some, they have almost no political ground plan, the recent failure of the RP shows no potential and could end up a possible embarrassment, and there have been no recent polls to give WC-ians spine-growing material.

Maybe growth towards 25 000 now could be imagined, which is still hardly a drop in your ocean.

^^ "powerful Manifesto" - belongs in Lex's oxymoron thread

Not that I'm discouraging the effort to help drop the DA's stronghold percentage, nor their helpful communal efforts, but if small interests want to be taken seriously they shouldn't make power jokes.

an ill thought of, choice of words.
almost has the scent of anc / communist party / eff propaganda sloganing.

more interesting is the desire to establish coalition with the da - i was under the impression ff+ was the bedfellow in that regard.

nonetheless - i share common cause with them in seeking a reduction in da majority (locally), although our end goals may differ.
