ASA didn't exist then. If you count their votes and the DA's it would be a majority already. It's not so much about turnout, they would need to replace the votes they lost...The pollsters have said that if all suburban voters who voted DA in 2016 turned out again in 2026, Zille would win a majority. So if they stop complaining and vote for Zille instead of Herman, the problem should be solved
He has no need for those things, it's not like he's going to use it to cross the border...Yeah I see this.
Somehow I think he'll get given bail in that other matter since its merely 2 stolen cars and forged documents if I remember correctly.
Wouldn't this be amazing: if he flees, the judge that handed him a bail sentence, should do his time instead? Wonder how many judges would hand down seemingly crazy verdicts when their own rights are on the line eh?Hope he flees. The very justice system that this commission is about must be shown their arse...
ASA is to the DA as MKP is to the ANC. Taken large chunks out of the body and left them bleeding out.ASA didn't exist then. If you count their votes and the DA's it would be a majority already. It's not so much about turnout, they would need to replace the votes they lost...
One day, when DA supporters here are sober, they will admit that Zille's second coming took the party back, the momentum they had in 2016 was something to be built on not to be destroyed and start afresh just because Zille is afraid the party is slipping away from her control.ASA didn't exist then. Are you prepared to admit that Zille took the party back instead of building on the growth of 2016?Thats a glorious hot take from Champy... are you prepped for your 2 week holiday next week boss?

The DA will find comfort in the fact that ActionSA seems to be focusing more on black voters, so there is less chance of them eating into the white traditional DA voter base.ASA is to the DA as MKP is to the ANC. Taken large chunks out of the body and left them bleeding out.
Zille giveth. Zille taketh. The DA will find comfort in the fact that ActionSA seems to be focusing more on black voters, so there is less chance of them eating into the white traditional DA voter base.
Still won't take the DA anywhere but Zille will be able to convince the supporters that retaining the core constituency is much more important than chasing the woke electorate.

Mmusi was the first DA leader to lose the DA seats, Champy. As the leader, he was ultimately held responsible for the result. Your complete inversion of history might work at your local ANC branch meeting, but not here. Also if she lost the DA support, why is she so far ahead in the JHB mayoral race? Perhaps she's not the electoral poison you claim her to be.One day, when DA supporters here are sober, they will admit that Zille's second coming took the party back, the momentum they had in 2016 was something to be built on not to be destroyed and start afresh just because Zille is afraid the party is slipping away from her control.
Why would you vote ANC? They've clearly given up.
MANNA FROM HEAVEN FOR GODZILLE.

This appears to be a great last week of campaigning for the ANC. We are fully supportive of these 4D chess moves they are employing
Except we do have the results, in 2016 the DA got 38% for Joburg, 43% for Tshwane, they were the largest party in Tshwane, and 34% for Ekurhuleni. How can I admit that when we don't have actual voting results?
