Have you read the CIP's manifesto?^^ "powerful Manifesto" - belongs in Lex's oxymoron thread
This started out as the 'king-maker' strategy.more interesting is the desire to establish coalition with the da - i was under the impression ff+ was the bedfellow in that regard.
Perhaps there's more than one plan in mind, but I guess they're sticking to their guns at least.more interesting is the desire to establish coalition with the da - i was under the impression ff+ was the bedfellow in that regard.
I would think the FF+ has more potential here?nonetheless - i share common cause with them in seeking a reduction in da majority (locally), although our end goals may differ.
Probably, I've read many CI related webpages through the years.Have you read the CIP's manifesto?
So, you don't recall reading it.... yet you know it's weak? (powerful vs weak)Probably, I've read many CI related webpages through the years.Have you read the CIP's manifesto?

Or are you saying generally-speaking manifestos are routinely ignored?
I think you’ll be surprised this time. There will be little shift towards CIP.
People will continue to be suspicious of why "they want to run when they're not into politics", their last failure although not their fault suggests incompetence to some, they have almost no political ground plan, the recent failure of the RP shows no potential and could end up a possible embarrassment, and there have been no recent polls to give WC-ians spine-growing material.
Maybe growth towards 25 000 now could be imagined, which is still hardly a drop in your ocean.
I think you’ll be surprised this time.
So you pivoted from "the manifesto is weak," to "the party is weak".The party remains weak.
Little left to say..

He clearly said 'powerful manifesto,' not 'powerful party'.

.... perhaps by..... reading it.....Oh dear... fine, let me help you again..
For it to be a powerful manifesto, it would have the ability to provide a powerful outcome.
That said, I know what you're saying is that the concept is powerful. What you all ignore though is that the people need to first strongly believe in it.
\.... perhaps by..... reading it.....
(continues filing nails)
This is why politicians love the cheap votes.\
You need to tell Jack to make a little AI synopsis, people don't have the time to read walls o waffle.

This is why politicians love the cheap votes.
Not only do they have carte blanche, for 5 years at a time... even what you put in your manifesto doesn't matter.

I vote with the 68%.... the deafeningly silent majority.Lol.
IF this was a year or two ago, perhaps try this wide approach, sure.
Vote is in less than a week.
BTW, are you still not voting?
Must go (truly)
I vote with the 68%.... the deafeningly silent majority.
How many people have you heard talking about "the 68% percenters"?And how much practical political leverage does that have?
Jack is well aware the political strategy is only one possible route. How does it help Jack for instance?
Seeya
How many people have you heard talking about "the 68% percenters"?
Not many I would imagine.
How many would you need to hear that stat, on the other hand, for it to make an impact?
Jack is well aware the political strategy is only one possible route.
i'm aware of this however, i was under the impression ff+ was the bedfellow of choice. This started out as the 'king-maker' strategy.
That has been their long-standing goal..... get the DA below 50%, and with CIP's target of 5% support, offer them council voting support in return for a referendum on CI.
