Israeli Elections

And he's off again, Spizz is totally unbiased and supports both sides equally
The cognitive dissonance in your head must be something special.

Do you actually read what you post or are you not too fussed about embarrassing yourself?

Its the nature of people resisting foreign occupiers.

Am pretty sure the French resistance in WW2 didnt wear uniforms either....

Careful.

Non-uniformed fighters, organised resistance fighters, non-state combatants and civilians who take up arms do not legally qualify for protection under international law when engaged in armed combat with a state. They are not even entitled to POW status and failing to distinguish themselves as combatants is probably one of the worst things you can do as it violates international law.

If you are going to say being former IDF because of compulsory military service makes you a legitimate target, then you won't have much room to complain if the IDF runs roughshod over anybody taking up arms against them.

Hmm. So what could the solution be?

Any ideas?

Come on, you can do it. I believe in you.
I know what, lock everyone inside Gaza so no one can leave, including civilians and then annihilate the area and call the huge civilian deaths totally unpreventable collateral damage and then claim that the IDF is the most moral army.
Also don't allow any independent journalists in to verify this.

Is the UN who wont declare Hamas (who also killed all the political opposition) a terrorist "independent"?

Understood, but that doesnt give the IDF the right to massacre civilians.

Am absolutely not saying that.

Oh boy.

And yet you can’t say why or what to do about it.

Has what they've been doing for years worked? I'm also not really responsible for plotting Israeli policy.

Perhaps they could unite the massive brainpower of the ingenious Ashkenazi crew and work out a different approach, instead of continually dropping the Ashke part.

Agreed.

I have posted many times that Israel has a lot to answer for and some of what they get up to is disgraceful, if not criminal.

I was just addressing the point about all Israelis being legitimate targets because of previous service. It is a point that often creeps into these discussions. And at the other end of the spectrum, Hamas' conduct doesn't guarantee them the same protections as uniformed state combatants.

Am totally not saying that.

I know. It was more of a generalised statement in the context of what I outlined above. Apologies if it came across the wrong way.

Didn't they do that when they instructed them to leave their homes when they invaded Israel?
They fled for their lives from a war zone and were prevented from returning when they war finished. How is that moral?

You really take the 💩cake for :X3:🙉
Have you even watched any of the streamed video of the skies over Israel post Oct. 7th?

You're an insult to the human brain.

You missed the word "typically", which describes the situation over a period of time not limited to post Oct 7th.

And you obviously can't see the difference between Gaza post Oct 7th and Israel post Oct 7th either.

Your post history shows you to be a brainless fundamentalist anyway, so nobody would expect more from you.

They didn't flee, they were told to leave by Egypt and Jordan. The ones that didn't listen are Israeli citizens now. That sounds moral to me, winners and losers in a war, the losers don't get to dictate anything.

Citation needed, you literally said Israel was invaded, so how the hell do you know why they left?

The Palestinians living in Israel didn't declare war on Israel, civillians shouldn't get punished for a war just because other people of the same ethnicity decided to declare war. Advocating for collective punishment is pretty racist
