UK Politics: (the battle of the YouTube channels)

Not a new thing, the “no trick or treat” posters have been offered for years.

A lot of people don’t go in for the whole Halloween nonsense and with so many people being pissed off with the modern MAGA USA there will likely be more people not wanting to take part in this Americanised shít…
I hope your house gets egged. :)

Typical etiquette around here is simple. No pumpkins outside the door, no knocking. No need for grumpy signs ‘cause man waves fist at sky.

I don’t bother with signs, I just deactivate the timers on my outside lights for the evening leaving the house completely dark from the street which usually gets the message across.

I think the signs are more aimed at OAPs

Trust GB News to publish a "we can't even celebrate a festival that isn't British coz Muslims" article just before their "we can't wear poppies" and "we can't say happy Christmas" routines.

Like clockwork.
Outrage farming, I have yet to meet a Muslim here that doesn’t get involved in both holidays.
Saying it isn’t British is a bit of a stretch though. It is most certainly something that is widely supported and is from this “region”.
Besides, it’s a fun time for kids.
Politicising it is the stupid part.

Sure, no problem with that. I was having a dig at Ranty Rupert and his determination to restore Britain back to the 1700s, and to demonise anything not seem as "British".

Speaking of Halloween...👻

Haha, cynics.
Kids in my neighbourhood are so well behaved they never take more than one. And we over cater so I’m always encouraging them to take more anyway.
Decor is minimal though, just a couple of pumpkins to let them know we have sweets but I do like people that go to town.
Extra lights at night this time of year are always welcome.

Sidenote: Halloween decor was already in the specials bins last weekend and replaced my Christmas stuff in our local stores.

So when the right split their vote the vote three ways (Tories, Reform and Restore) this sort of thing happens.

Missed opportunity by the right. If they all united under one brand they might have had a chance.

Now even Reform voters think Labour would win the next election.
