Expensive state-backed “1Mbps” satellite Internet company goes dark after launching in South Africa

1 Mbps and these clowns think they have achieved something.
I know its because they cant count.

4 Months later and the money has been chowed down already.

When will these idiots get it in their head that they cant produce anything at all.

It has gone dark, despite Deputy President Paul Mashatile calling the company’s launch “an important milestone in our nation’s pursuit of secure, resilient and reliable satellite connectivity.”

Mashatile said that BrainSAT was a strategic partner of Space42, a UAE-based satellite connectivity operator, which offers satellite mobile devices through its subsidiary Thuraya.
Now if only there was a working service offering 100Mbps+ speeds ready to launch.

Well, they got the first part right, they got the up front funding, and now are doing the second part, making sure it vanishes. the third part, deliver the service, will be, like the promised million houses in 5 years, be forever a case of 5 houses in a million years, and the only reason those 5 houses got built was because 5 people on the list got tired, and built 5 shacks somewhere using old pallet wood, cardboard and assorted cans of paint they found thrown out.

So SA has no brainsat.... I'm shocked
they have the idea, sadly the brain part is in the UK, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, and cannot apply anyway because they first of all do not meet the BEE requirements, because pale males, and secondly are not relations who would share the largesse with the pigs.
