Esteban Ocon has denied reports that his being dropped by Haas at the Mexico City Grand Prix was a consequence of a row with team principal Ayao Komatsu descending into a physical confrontation.

The Frenchman, 30, admitted in a statement on social media that "a difference in viewpoints led to a discussion with the parties involved".

But he said he "categorically rejected any reports or allegations suggesting that any form of physical violence was used to resolve any differences of any nature".

Isack Hadjar given formal warning after fan incident at Mexico City Grand Prix

Isack Hadjar was handed a formal warning from the stewards at the Mexico City Grand Prix after a video circulated which appeared to show him pushing a fan in the paddock.

In the video, Hadjar is walking down the paddock when a fan approaches to ask for a selfie. He was initially summoned to the stewards for an alleged incident of "misconduct."

The video appears to show the Red Bull driver decline at least once before the shove occurred. A security member of Red Bull's team then appears to step in to move the fan away. Hadjar was walking to the garage ahead of Friday practice.

It is the FIA's fault, If he had told him to F'off it would have been a $10,000 fine, give him a shove and it's just a warning.
