The 150-year-old Hex River Pass Tunnel was the first railway tunnel built in South Africa, but is now abandoned and has not seen a train pass through it in decades.

I can remember going up there on the "train", that was run by the local farmer, from the Veldskoen farm stall. As far as I know it is no longer running though.
