Panyaza Lesufi will spend R269 million on an app that does less than one President Cyril Ramaphosa is creating for R150 million

It is only when you mention government or a wedding, that the prices shoot up.
Govement with a good reason, you get the tender then are expected to attend months in meeting where you have to provide food/drink and nothing gets done, which isn't even nessary since the tender was supposed to spell out what needs doing. After you finally complete the job then you now need to sit and wait to get paid. The brown envelopes to get the tender is not even mentioned and that is an upfront cost.

Is there a cost breakdown for this? The R269 million figure is for the total cost from 2024 to 2027, so does it include call centres, armed response etc for they period?

How many people trust the government enough to give them their details in the first place, the current operational schemes suggest that it's not that many.
