The rand makes it seem high, but $5 million is very little to get licensed. I have no idea what it will entail. Sadly, sport is entertainment. The big question is rather, revenue???

Also, the relationship between Gayton's department and US business seems to be healthy...
 
This was a royal **** up by Gayton. They paid R82Mil, knowing Liv golf were already on their knees.

Its now been announced that the tournament won't go ahead in 2027. They winding down. I doubt SA will recoup that money any time soon.

Rob looked like a smart guy until I saw him say in an interview long ago that he'd pick Gayton for president. I thought WTF and realised there and then he's actually an idiot. It's so obvious this guy is scum, just look at his history.

I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt when he started. But the ticketpros thing and this kak with Liv golf and I sense he has ulterior motives pushing for a GP at Kyalami, got to watch this oke, just in it to fleece the taxpayer.

Also his trip to the Fifa world cup - was a farce.

Fortunately the voters are giving him quite a thumping right now at the LGE! His goose is already cooked. It never really lasted that long TBH.
