US Politics: Catering to Iran

Those coming out now were not blind, unlike those like Massie and even MTG who spoke out while they still had seats, they kept shut knowing speaking out will elicit the wrath of Trump and threatened with been replaced for nomination party representation. None of them spoke out against Trump even after nomination and running up to elections. They gambled on Republicans keeping their seats and lost.

What exactly am I supposed to be coping about?

We all saw these House and Senate losses coming...it was inevitable and happens every term to every president.

Surely this is not enough for the Dems. Or is it all that counts...giving Trump a kick in the balls and pop the champagne?

If you goofballs want to actually RUN the country in 2 years time, you have a great plan. no?

Unlike the Presidency, the congress and the senate aren't a monolith. As you pointed out, they can draft and pass all the bills they want, and as you pointed out, Trump can, and mostly will veto them. But guess what the Democrats will do? They'll pin this on the Republicans (rightly), and anyone tainted with Trump's smelly diapers won't have a shot in 2028.

So tell us again how the GOP will claim the White House in 2028. And tell us who it's going to be that will be able to say that they didn't lick Donald's feebleminded ass.

Do you even know how this works? There will be a primary to see who runs for the Democrats in 2028. The winner's agenda will be the party's campaign.

Or do you think that the sitting congressmen and Senators draft the policy for the nominee :unsure:
