Under the strict legal definition of beyond a reasonable doubt. I don't know if there is enough evidence for him to be convicted as a rapist given the behaviour of all parties involved.I think he is a rapist, therefore he deserves to be in jail. Some poeple think he is innocent and shouldn't be in jail - although I disagree I can support the idea that an innocent person shouldn't be in jail.
It's f***ing twisted morality that you think he didn't commit rape but you are happy that he is going to jail because he doesn't behave the way you would like.
Remember if you are allowed to look at his prior behaviour to the event in question, you can look at the victims as well. And theirs is just as bad as his. If a celebrity with a proven track record of womanising asks a fan to their dressing room, it is plainly obvious to any adult what is going on. And they consented to prior acts. Which makes a highly reasonable way to create doubt that it was rape.
The sexual assault stuff done in front of other people obviously means he is guilty, and it is good they found him guilty on those.
But I cannot use those incidents to prove beyond a reasonable doubt he is guilty of the rape.
Think about it like this. If you cannot throw a mobster in prison based on the murders you think they did, but you can throw them in prison on tax evasion, you are pretty happy they are in prison anyway.
