Upgrade for the BYD Shark in South Africa Chinese carmaker BYD has launched a more powerful version of its Shark 6 plug-in hybrid bakkie in South Africa. The Shark 6 Performance boasts a peak power output of 350kW and 700Nm torque, compared with 321kW and 650Nm torque on the Premium model.
