OK, so the Potjie pot is on the boil.
I braised the oxtail and shin meat and put it in the pot
I've sauted and added the diced carrots onions tomato paste, worcester sauce, garlic, spices, bay leaves, etc.
Now it has been boiling nicely for more than an hour... three more hours to go...

I experience my first legit potjiekos over the easter weekend and was blown away. It is such an awesome, social way to make a meal. Love how the meat just falls off the bone.
I have subsequently bought my first potjie. It has a '4' on it. Does this relate to its size?
