regional ps2 issues

    PS2 bought from Manhattan USA - won't work

    I've learnt (bitterly) that PS2 from the US doesn't play here. I bought one for my son and didn't buy games from there so now I'm stuck and the little man is annoyed. Any help, where can I get a good game for a 9 year old that plays on a US console. Please help.
