Tamboerskloof Speeds?

Contacted Telkom to upgrade my circuit (1mb) and was informed that this was the fastest speed available in the area. There were no plans to upgrade to faster speeds. Is this true? Anyone in Tamboerskloof on 2 or 4mb circuits? Miss my 4mb.... :(
