I have been struggling to get MTN to sort out their firewalling.
I am currently using the E620 data card with the mtnvpn APN. I am using the data card with my home-office network as I refuse to use Telkom in any way (which rules out ADSL) - more expensive anyway.
All OUTBOUND services appear to work fine.
However, any inbound services are all blocked by the MTN firewall. Port scanning their firewall reveals that every single port is stealthed.
In particular, I want to be ble to VPN to my home-office, and access some other services running on unusual ports.
Does anyone know who to talk to at MTN, or how to resolve this issue, as my last week of trying to get them to sort it out has not resulted in any customer satisfaction?
