3G data Cards

Just testing the waters........... would there be a demand for 3G cards among forumites and what would you consider fair price? a simple yes/no and price would do........

There is a lot of discussion about the PCMCIA (eg Huawei E620) and USB (Huawei E220) HSDPA adapters - indicating fair amount of interest. Again judging by content of debate, I would hazard a guess that at below R1500 there will be a lot of interest. You can currently buy them new at around R2000. If you do your maths and find a good contract offer, you may end up paying as little as R1200. People selling cards at below R1000 were met with disbelief....

I will like a 3g card, but for no more than R1000, because it wont be new, and I have the risk that it might work for just a short time.

interesting......i recently sold my hsdpa card here and the interest received was more than expected, which got me thinking it might be a viable source of extra gadget money............well lets see if i can first source some cards......watch this space ...and as for them working 4 a short time , i wouldnt hazard my rep on myadsl like that............me hopes.
