5G connection drops at same time every morning

Morning everyone, Ive noticed over the passed couple of days I lose 5G connection at about the same time every morning. I log into my router and then re establish the connection and everything is fine. I dont have issues with speed luckily but I have noticed the times that the connection drops while I'm not at home sometimes it wont come back up until Ive logged into the router and fiddled around.

Anyone know why this could happen? I am locked onto the specific tower so I think its an issue with the tower itself.
Hi @runnergunner Please check your PM.

I use to drop my connection every single day 15 years ago late afternoon when the sun was busy setting over the ocean. The glare coming off the sea was blinding
My antenna was positioned in such a way that it was over the sea and back onto land to the ISP tower

If it was a cloudy day I didnt have that problem

Shooting wireless over water is a bad idea overall. At least this doesn't appear to be too far but if that fresnel touches it the water probably gives you the same packet 30 times.

Also I'll look for a caravan next time I'm in Gordon's Bay.

Yeah, bouncing over the waves
It was pretty good most of the times
Solid connection except as i said in afternoons for about 40 minutes of glaring sun on the sea at a certain angle

And also kak in winter when we had very very bad thunderstorms

Overall I would guess it was up about 98% of the time and having uncapped 384Kb internet moving away from Dial Up I did not mind one tiny bit at all

Share a screen shot of the towers around you … so we can see how far and close they are … but the 8km one is the tower that gives you the best speed
The closest tower is 0.8km away from me and gives me 250mbps+

True … but check that towers and test them … I always test every tower I can find that belongs to rain

Oh snap … that’s not far … I’m 0.6k away … so the coverage shouldn’t be a problem right … but it’s because the waves and weather could be problem maybe a outside router ?

My router updated this morning and my connection has totally gone for a ball of s***. Im not happy now. I cant even lock onto SA and connect to the closest tower to me anymore!!!
