6680 internet speeds

I recently upgraded my contract to a 6680 phone and bought an MTN 3G SIM card.

I find that the internet speeds on my 3G phone to be painfully slow - even slower than dial-up speeds. I can also see no discernable difference between speeds when i used the phone with 3G signal or just normal signal.

Have other users had this experience?

It may be a related problem, but since renewing my contract, I have had trouble receiving incoming calls. Despite countless calls to MTN's call centre, I have yet to receive any joy; several consultants claim to have fixed the problem, but it keeps recurring.

I am starting to feel increasingly frustrated and ripped off.

3G at times is slower for me, but my internet downloads from 3G are a big upgrade from wat they were with my k700i on gps.

3G usually downloads at 40K, while my k700i at a push would get 10.

3G though seems less reliable, as i often get page failed to load errors, and then the pain of if you drop out of 3G.
