6680 supply suspended by MTN

I've been told by MTNSP Service Centres (Cherry Lane, Pretoria and Morningside, Sandton) (Fri 2 Sep and Wed 7 Sep) that they're currently not supplying the Nokia 6680 due to problems with the phone. They expect it will be weeks until the problem is fixed and they resume supply.

Anyone have any further details on this? MTNHandsets?
i.e.
- What exactly is the problem?
- Which versions/batches are affected?
- Any estimate of when supply will be resumed?

ditto, got mine from Nashua on the 1st. No problems found yet.

Could this be because MTN supply a non-branded wersion? Maybe the branded ones are better.
